Multicrystalline silicon solar cells with diagonal busbars and optimized finger grid. Powerquant developed this special layout to meet the requirements of appealing design solutions for building integration and high electrical power output. This type of solar cells is uniquely produced for Powerquant by leading European solar cell manufacturers.
Each solar cell can have two orientations in the module. This permits an infinity of pleasing geometric patterns without changing the electrical characteristics of the module. The soldered connections between the cells are facilitated by copper templates which can be colored in gold, silver, copper or red.
Six different module designs are produced routinely. Each of these modules consists of 36 squared multicrystalline solar cells of 156mm edge length. The power output is typically 120Wp. Arbitrary module designs can be made on customer’s request.
